WAV Break Relief Operator
The Break Relief operator covers scheduled breaks for various operators throughout the plant. Understanding operation of numerous positions is required for this position.

Operate Cheese equipment and processes according to the SOP Monitor quality and performance to achieve desired throughput. Relieve Vats, DMC, Mixers, and Separators operators for breaks.
Complete assigned inspection program duties.
Complete Start Up / Shut Down check lists, operational inspections, Sanitation/CIP – Record CIP Titrations
The Cheese Relief Operator is responsible for the safe operation of the associated equipment and/or processes, the quality of incoming raw materials, the quality of the outgoing products in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s), Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and safe work practices. The position is also responsible for participating in the implementing of continuous improvement.
Communicate effectively with co-workers, team leads and supervisors.
The Cheese Relief Operator must be able to understand the requirements of the position and successfully demonstrate proficiency in the job specific PSOP job certification.
Complete paperwork accurately and in a timely manner. Know and understand the normal operational readings for all data recorded. Take action to correct problems should operations fall outside of normal process.

This position is responsible and product meets food safety, regulatory, and quality requirements by following the Food Safety Plan, Quality, Plan, and company policies.
Pay Rate:
- $28.40 per hour
- $0.75 Evening Pay Differential for every evening hour worked between 6:00pm-6:00am
- $1.00 Weekend Pay Differential for every hour worked Saturday & Sunday
Minimum Qualifications:
- Must be a minimum of 18 years old.
- Must be able to work Sunday - Saturday, off-shifts, weekends, holidays, and required overtime to support a 24 hour/7 day operation.
- Must be willing and able to work in hot, humid environments.
- Must have a demonstrated ability to complete work assignments with a high degree of accuracy.
- Must be willing and able to learn other operator positions in the facility.
- Prior food industry experience is preferred.
Language & Technical Skills:
- Able to read, write, and communicate effectively with co-workers and leadership.
- Proficient computer knowledge, including Microsoft Office products.
- Familiarity or ability to learn SAP, or similar integrated manufacturing system.
Physical Demands & Environment:
- This position will be exposed to working in a wet/slippery environment with loud noise in varying degrees of temperature.
- Must be able to withstand high heat and humidity.
- Specific vision may be required for this position, including close vision, distance vision, color and depth perception, and the ability to read computer screens for extended time periods.
- Must be able to lift and carry moderate weights repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Ability to pass physical abilities lift test, including lifting up to 30 lbs., and climbing stairs.
- Frequent walking and standing.
- Climbing upstairs/ladders, bending and reaching required.
