Description: 

Payroll Processing & Reconciliation

  • Completion of weekly hourly payroll including processing and managing timekeeping system and employee time off requests
  • Provides administrative support for employee schedules, including data input into timekeeping system
  • Responsible for running all applicable payroll reports, printing checks and processing additional deductions and reimbursements when needed
  • Prepare labors analysis and tracking for the plant
  • Reconciles and manages payment of union dues and insurance monthly
  • Prepares monthly lockbox deposit 

2    Production Department Administrative Support 

  • Performs daily inventory of department consumables
  • Prepares, analyzes, and distributes reports that are necessary to carry out the functions of the department.
  • Orders supplies as needed and reconciles P-card account statements at the end of the month
  • Provides support to production department including audit/verify/review daily production paperwork and follows up on discrepancies 
  • Supports the Maximo CAPA lead for production department
  • Assists with phone coverage
  • Other administrative support for the production and/or plant, as assigned

3    Employee Relations

  • Establishes and maintains an accurate and employee friendly environment

 

 

Minimum Qualifications & Experience:
•    Associates Degree in Accounting, Finance, or similar program, or equivalent experience
•    One (1) year of work experience in fast paced, high volume clerical support position, preferably in a manufacturing environment
•    Proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite programs
•    Technically sound in accounting fundamentals and best practices 
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities/Competencies: 
•    Familiarity or ability to learn SAP, or similar integrated manufacturing system
•    Prior experience with timekeeping system
•    Effective verbal and written communication skills
•    Excellent interpersonal skills
•    High level of organizational skills and ability to prioritize efficiently in order to respond to high volume number of requests
•    Creative thinker with a process improvement mindset
