Maintenance Parts Room Lead

For our future state-of-the art 600+ person Lubbock, TX cheese and whey manufacturing facility, Leprino is seeking a Maintenance Parts Room Lead. We take pride in our vision to be the "world's best." It's why we work harder, invest more, and continually innovate.

Leprino Foods broke ground on the $1 Billion facility in the summer of 2022. The plant will become operational in 2025 with Phase 1 and will become fully operational by 2026 with Phase 2!

This position requires the maintenance of accurate inventory control records and performing distribution of part items to maintenance and production personnel. The Store Room Clerk must have a general knowledge of inventory control as maintaining inventories and distribution of parts requires. The incumbent must also possess working knowledge of proper filing procedures. Responsible for distributing parts to production and maintenance personnel and works in a plant environment. Duties may vary by shift to include parts receiving, inventory cycle counts, shipping of equipment for repairs, and data entry. 

• Accurately enter data into computer system as required. 
• Monitor proper parts inventory levels against maintenance needs, accurately count parts.
• Locates the correct parts efficiently and distributes to production or maintenance personnel. 
• Maintains accurate filing records of all required functions. 
• Completes regularly scheduled parts inventories including receiving correct parts as they arrive.
• Perform all duties in a safe manner complying with all applicable safety policies.  

Minimum Qualifications & Experience 

• Must be able to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing  

• Computer knowledge, including Microsoft Office products 

• Familiarity or ability to learn SAP and Maximo, or similar integrated manufacturing systems 

• Able to read and write 

• Ability to maintain complete and accurate inventory records 

Preferred Qualifications & Experience 

• Experience with SAP and Maximo 

• Knowledge and understanding on inventory control processes in Maintenance setting
