Job Title: PRODUCTION CLERK V – PROCESSING
Reports To: Processing Manager
Wage Scale: $22.94 - $25.80 (Break in rates and $0.75 cents differential pay from 6PM - 5:59AM applies)
Working Hours: 7:00- 3:30 p.m. (*Subject to change)
Days Off: Saturday & Sunday (*Subject to change)
General Summary:
Processing Production Clerk V is responsible for processing data as well as providing Processing Supervisors/Managers accurate and timely reports to better enable those management personnel to make proper decisions and adjustments to have a positive effect on quality and financials.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Review (and complete if needed) daily production records, paperwork for Gas flush, QLC, Bulk/Base. May include pallet research for Supervisors.
- Review daily POs to ensure all required consumptions are complete and accurate.
- Check / Verify Daily and End of Run paperwork (Ingredients, Cellulose, Box Maker information, etc.)
- Complete ingredient tracking forms, reports, graphs, etc.
- Complete/Print/Post Dept graphs (NFFHC, Problem Cheese, PPLH, Customer complaints, OT, Down time, Usage, First Pass Good, etc.)
- Supervisor Support: Usage Plans, Break Schedules, and Tracking Weekly Labor for Accounting Adjustment.
- Track and complete any and all audit requirements [MSS Tracking, Audits, and communication for gaps in procedures – Safety Tracking, and Lot Control Tracking as needed].
- Provide clerical support to supervisors/managers: mail, typing, scribe, filing, answering phones, etc.
- Review/resolve errors for Processing L2 and Refinish.
- Prepare department weekly KPI report; research and complete KPI reports for supervisors on vacation. Create PowerPoint with the information gathered and send it to Plant Management.
- Monitor stranded inventory, research batch history, works closely with operators, warehouse, and admin to ensure proper product tracking. Boxing up and labeling all monthly paperwork and updating retention log for shred.
- Maintain production records such as but not limited to: NFFHC/Rework logs, Add back records, sorting records, Record Retention Log).
- Manage the department spending card, ordering supplies and tools as needed for the office and department. Monthly reconciliation of spending and expense reports.
- Review Red Tags/Sort Log bins for completion and accuracy. Escalate to supervisors as needed.
- Prepare monthly financials information for the Manager.
- Quality Alerts: Double-check daily QAs to ensure they all have been answered and if Hold & Release has any QAs are needed.
- Paperwork: Shift/Operator Paperwork, Red Tags, Sort Logs, Real-Time tickets, and Break Trackers. Keeping track to ensure all paperwork is turned in, filled out, and filed.
- Track and issue general approvals for employees’ vacations, and PVD’s, including the use of the Kronos system. Gathering entire month break trackers, and Time Off Request Forms and turn into payroll.
- Update Vacation Calendars on Excel as well as using UKG to ensure they are submitted correctly.
- File all time off requests forms and update the vacation boards in pre-shift room.
- Paperwork: Shift/Operator Paperwork, Red Tags, Sort Logs, Real-Time tickets, and Break Trackers. Keeping track to ensure all paperwork is turned in, filled out, and filed.
- Keep track of Sanitation Lockers.
- Ensure all operators are using the new month excel logs.
- Gather nominations for the Department EOTM from PL2 Leadership. Print out the EOTM certificate to give to employees.
- Keep track of the department Radios on our excel file and if any repairs are needed communicate with PL2 Manager and PLC.
- Update the Pre-Shift postings and communication boards, employee newsletter, Department Hot Topics, etc.
- Adhere to all Company and regulatory GMPs.
- Other duties as assigned, supporting Processing Line 2 and refinish.
Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Professional demeanor for employee and management interactions and problem solving.
- Proficient computer skills, Microsoft Excel, Word, Publisher etc.
- Knowledge of the Processing Department or equivalent work experience is preferred.
- Organization skills, ability to work independently, and ability to multi-task are required.
- Thorough knowledge of SAP to include pallet corrections, code conversions, and location review.
Working Relationships:
- This position reports to the Processing Department Manager or a Supervisor.
- This position will regularly interact with other production and support group supervisors.
- Regular interaction with other plant management.
