At Leprino Foods, starting compensation for this role in Accounting Clerk V pay ranges $28.33 - $32.57

Summary Description: The buyer performs various administrative functions involved with the purchasing of materials, parts, supplies, service, etc.  The primary function is that of supporting the efforts of the Parts Room and Technical Teams to have all required goods and services for the successful operation of the factory.  All candidates will primarily work in Maximo and SAP. Must have thorough purchasing and maintenance spares experience with Maximo and SAP.

Job Description

• Prepare, issue, and follow up on various requests for quotes
• Prepare requisitions as needed
• Prepare various work scopes for service work, contracts, and general parts identification.
• Maintain Purchase Agreement files; follow up on quote returns, Purchase Agreement returns, Confirmations, PO Status, etc.
•  Review various documents such as the AP List, No Confirmation Report, Overdue Purchase Order list, etc. and expedite as required.
• Continual review of the workflow in the department and the suggest ways to improve (expedite) the process flow, parts turn-around, etc.
• Perform various parts cycle count audits as defined by the Storeroom / Purchasing Supervisor.
• Interact on a regular basis, both in person and over the phone, with various vendor contacts and purchasing teams in other LFC plants.
• Represent in all daily activities the Core Values of Leprino Foods and the “Be the change…” attitude required for positive cultural change in our plant.
• Perform other duties as assigned by your department lead, supervisor, and manager.

You Have At Least (Required Qualifications):

• Must have the ability to demonstrate professionalism and uphold LFC Core Values in all dealings with vendors and other plants.
• Must have the ability to make non routine decisions.
• Demonstrated experience in SAP& Maximo that includes both Purchasing and Accounts Payable experience
• Strong administrative experience and skills.
• Purchasing and inventory management experience.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Demonstrated attention to detail with an emphasis on total accuracy.
• Action-oriented approach with assertive follow up abilities.

Working Relationships:

• This position reports to the Parts Room Supervisor.
