Block Part Time Sanitation

At Leprino Foods, starting compensation for this role is PT Sanitation Rate ($24.20).

• 1st Shift (10:00AM – 3:00PM)

Summary Description: The employee is responsible for the sanitary condition of the entire Block Dept.

Job Description

• At all times, operate in a manner consistent with safe operating procedures.
• Responsible for the safe and adequate sanitation of assigned equipment and area in the Block Department in accordance with Company Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).
• Responsible for the daily cleaning of conveyors and equipment in your assigned daily area.
• Maintain Master Sanitation logs and paperwork for respective area.
• Responsible for the daily cleaning and operation of footbaths and foot-foamers.
• Responsible for the safe retrieval of chemicals from allocation areas.
• Required to work on drains.
• Responsible for safe allocation of daily cleaning chemicals.
• Maintain Master Sanitation logs and paperwork for respective areas.
• Adhere to all Company and regulatory GMPs and PPE’s.
• Track and record daily chemical inventories.
• Communicate between, co-workers, departments and supervision as required.
• Must successfully complete JTPR and consistently perform work according to SOP.
• MES navigation and computer data entry (cheese sample results, cage load & unload tracking).
•  Perform other duties as assigned.

You Have At Least (Required Qualifications):

• Knowledge of sanitary GMPs.
• Physical requirements to perform job as defined in the essential job function.
• Must be able to exercise judgment and make decisions.
• Computer literacy.

We Hope You Also Have (Preferred Qualifications):

• Prefer some manufacturing experience.

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities/Competencies:

• Ability to speak, read, and write the English language.
• Ability to repeatedly lift up to 50 pounds throughout the shift.
• Ability to access elevated work areas such as climbing ladders/stairs.
• Ability to understand and apply standard operating procedures.
• Ability to wear required personal protective equipment and comply with all applicable safety practices.
• Ability to work any shift, weekends, and holidays.

Working Relationships:

This position reports to the production Supervisor.
