Within our corporate Supply Chain team located in Denver – Leprino is seeking a Senior Cream Sales Analyst. The sales operations analyst is responsible for coordinating the sales of cream for all of Leprino's production facilities. Including coordinating the sales process and actively developing and cultivating current and potential customer relations.

 

At Leprino Foods, starting compensation for this role typically ranges between $84,300 and $101,000. This position has an annual target bonus of 10%.

 

  • Primary responsibilities include coordinating the cream schedule and weekly sales, understanding the dairy fat complex and pricing fundamentals, assisting in annual sales planning, spot load transactions and handling of disposition product, facilitate carrier relationship and freight schedules, and coordinating liquid products between company operating facilities.
  • Support Cream Sales Manager on annual and short-term contracting opportunities.
  • Assist with the cream sales budget process based on volume and commodity budget and deploys the budgeted sales strategy and associated pricing.
  • Evaluate and resolves appropriate changes to the dynamic weekly cream schedule for respective plants and contract customer to optimize schedule for cream sales.
  • Calculate complex pricing to measure and articulate cream offers.
  • Assess customer needs against plant cream availability, matching plant and customer needs to build the best returns.
  • Resolve and sell cream loads above contracts as needed, for either volume or economic needs.
  • Cultivate and manage transportation carrier relationships with existing carriers and potential new carriers.
  • Collect and maintain required documentation necessary based on specific business need and requirements.
  • Coordinate shipments of Leprino liquid products and supplies on a cost-effective, quality-oriented basis.
  • Works cross functionally with product management and plant teams to determine the best organization of liquid products while developing and managing the liquid freight process at each plant.
  • Drives cream sales strategy through applied market knowledge, identifying and evaluating trends.
  • Communicates with and maintains positive relationships with customer base.
  • Leads ongoing initiatives that standardize the execution and operational management of cream across the business including systems development optimization, engaging in continuous improvement opportunities with internal partners, and enhancing financial and sales reporting.

 

You Have At Least (Required Qualifications):

  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Economics, Business, Finance, Supply Chain Management, or a similar subject area.
  • Three (3) years of combined industry sales, operations, and procurement experience within the food industry.
  • The ability to work a weekly 3/2 (office/home) hybrid schedule.

  • Experience with SAP
  • Commercial dairy (or liquid dairy) experience.
