Based out of either Illinois, Wisconsin, or Ohio– we are seeking a Regional Sales Manager on our Bacio Premium Cheese team responsible for new business development throughout the Midwest U.S. Region. As our new Sales Manager you will be the in-market brand ambassador with a proficient understanding in the Bacio product line, brand positioning, and marketing/sales programs.

Today, Bacio is committed to being the premier cheese of choice for leading pizzerias and restaurants.


  • In this role you will be responsible for aggressively driving Bacio Cheese market share and achieving targeted objectives for account and volume growth.
  • Grow profitable sales of Bacio Cheese by partnering with Performance Foodservice (Roma) to lead highly effective street sales activities within the assigned geography.
  • Find and develop new sources of Bacio volume growth; gain more premium cheese share within assigned territory.
  • Focus on growing Bacio sales with multi-unit pizzerias with 10 or more locations.
  • Engage with emerging Fast Casual Pizzerias, and place Bacio as their preferred pizza cheese.
  • Develop strategies to increase account retention percentage.
  • Build strong relationships from the top down with our distribution partners to align and maximize sales execution and sales growth.
  • Provide ongoing account management and outstanding service to existing pizzeria accounts; protect customer base from competitive threats.
  • Facilitate frequent distribution partner Sales Rep Training Sessions to increase reach and efficiency of Bacio demonstrations.
  • Lead Performance Foodservice appointed Bacio Sales Leaders to ensure daily leadership is present in each market to drive the right behaviors and activity to grow the brand.

You Have At Least (Required Qualifications):

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, OR equivalent work experience.
  • A solid understanding of the foodservice distribution industry.
  • Eight (8) years of experience in an outside sales role within the food or beverage.
  • The ability to travel AT LEAST 80% within the market region with quarterly trips to the Denver home office.
