Quality Assurance Supervisor
Within our Global Quality team based in Denver — Leprino is seeking a Quality Assurance Supervisor to help strengthen our Nutrition Business Unit’s commitment to product excellence and customer trust! At Leprino, starting compensation for this role typically ranges between $85,000 and $102,000. This position has an annual target bonus of 10%.
What You’ll Do:
- Lead customer-facing quality assurance activities for our Nutrition Business Unit — managing product evaluations, hosting customer visits, and ensuring every product meets Leprino’s high standards.
 - Review and maintain manufacturing and customer specifications in SAP to guarantee accuracy, alignment, and traceability.
 - Act as a technical resource for product quality, food safety, and compliance topics, guiding teams on testing, performance data, and product standards.
 - Collaborate with Product Development, Production, and Quality Execution to resolve quality issues and strengthen processes before they become problems.
 - Respond quickly and effectively to customer complaints, identifying root causes and driving corrective actions that prevent recurrence.
 - Facilitate and deliver training on quality systems, audits, and continuous improvement to build awareness across teams.
 - Support cross-functional improvement projects that enhance product performance, process efficiency, and overall customer satisfaction.
 - Use statistical tools and data analysis to tighten process variation and help our plants continuously improve!
 - Communicate directly with customers and internal partners — from production teams to senior leaders — ensuring clarity, accountability, and trust at every step.
 - Champion the principles of food safety, regulatory compliance, and product integrity as part of Leprino’s promise to feed families safely and proudly!
 
You Have At Least (Required Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s degree in Food Science or a related field, or equivalent hands-on experience.
 - Five or more years in food manufacturing, product development, or quality assurance — ideally within dairy or a closely related category.
 - Working knowledge of GMP, HACCP, FSMA, and general food safety principles.
 - Experience supporting quality or production in a lab, plant, or corporate QA environment.
 - Proficiency in Microsoft Office; SAP experience preferred.
 - Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across functions.
 
We Hope You Also Have (Preferred Qualifications):
- Master’s degree in Food Science, Dairy Science, or a related discipline.
 - Deep understanding of quality assurance processes in nutrition or dairy manufacturing.
 - Experience leading root-cause investigations or managing customer complaints from initial contact to resolution.
 - Familiarity with statistical process control, data visualization, and continuous improvement tools.
 - Demonstrated success partnering with Production, R&D, and QE teams to align on product transitions, rollouts, or quality improvements.
