Within our Corporate Accounting team located in Denver – Leprino is seeking an Accountant to move our organization to even larger level of dairy ingredient and nutrition growth! We take pride in our vision to be "world's best", it is why we work harder, invest more, and continually innovate.


At Leprino Foods, starting compensation for this role typically ranges between $62,000 and $73,200. This position has an annual target bonus of 5%.


  • Dually manages the SAP Fixed Asset (FA) and SAP Investment Management (IM) system with timely monthly and year end closes.
  • Is responsible for the timing, accuracy, and completion of testing upgrades/releases to the SAP FA and SAP IM systems.
  • Timely and accurate reporting of fixed asset accounts of the company, including recording additions, retirements, transfers, and depreciation, by ensuring that accounting records are in accordance with GAAP and tax laws.
  • Ensures all Balance Sheet reconciliations are completed timely and accurately. Assists with depreciation variance analysis's and complete in a timely manner after the close of the accounting period.
  • Recommends and maintains internal controls to ensure the safeguarding of fixed assets and the accurate recording.
  • Performs closing responsibilities consisting of the preparation of journal entries and all general ledger account reconciliations. Completes and resolves any unreconciled amounts.
  • Assists in the development of AFE’s (AR’s) and assisting in issuing purchase requisitions in relation to Corporate, Construction and Tech Services projects.
  • Responsible for leading several larger manufacturing plants capital process from the approval of the AFE, establishing internal orders and establishing of assets on the books of record.
  • Issues depreciation budgets as well as monthly depreciation variance analysis.
  • Assists with the issuance of monthly reports to Senior Management on current month and annual CAPX budgets to actuals and on current open, closed, and depreciating AFE projects.
  • Drives the development and improvement of reporting needs of the department which includes SAP FA, SAP IM, CAPX, Open Project report and cash flows on a project by project basis.
  • Provides mentorship and training to the Fixed Asset department, plant/corporate personnel on SAP Fixed Assets, AFE preparation, capital costs, depreciation, policies, and standard methodologies.
  • Perform a detailed review of all reports, reconciliations, and project closes of the Associate Accounting Analyst-Fixed Assets.

You Have At Least (Required Qualifications):

  • A Bachelor’s degree in a Finance or Accounting.
  • Two (2) years of experience in accounting preferably Fixed Assets.


We Hope You Also Have (Preferred Qualifications):

  • A Master’s degree in the above-mentioned subject areas or an MBA.
