Director, IT Security & Infrastructure

Within our Corporate Information Technology team located in Denver – Leprino is seeking a Director of IT Security & Infrastructure to help strengthen and modernize how we protect our systems, support our teams, and serve the business! At Leprino, starting compensation for this role typically ranges between $187,000 and $240,000. This position has an annual target bonus of 25%.

• Lead a talented and collaborative group of internal teams and co-sourced partners to support and secure our technology ecosystem
• Build and guide enterprise-wide infrastructure and security strategies that support every part of the business
• Develop and maintain a multi-year roadmap for cloud-based and on-prem infrastructure services, focusing on security and stability
• Chair the IT Security Governance Committee, and lead simulation and recovery planning initiatives that prepare us for the unexpected
• Champion smart, scalable architecture that enables growth and minimizes risk — no tech theater here, just useful design
• Partner with business and executive leaders to align evolving IT needs with priorities across departments
• Support the development and well-being of your team by coaching, encouraging, and investing in their professional journey
• Oversee infrastructure health and lifecycle management — ensuring reliability, cost-effectiveness, and room to grow
• Build relationships with cross-functional leaders to co-create solutions that are practical and forward-thinking
• Stay ahead of emerging security risks and new technologies, and bring meaningful recommendations to the table
• Contribute to vendor selection and vendor management, especially across cloud, networking, and endpoint platforms
• Represent the function in strategic forums, ensuring strong coordination with the CIO and other executive leaders

You Have At Least (Required Qualifications):

• A bachelor’s degree in a business, computer science, or other IT-related field
• 10+ years of experience supporting enterprise IT systems with increasing responsibility
• 7+ years of hands-on experience building and guiding security operations AND IT infrastructure strategies
• 5+ years leading cross-functional teams or departments with diverse responsibilities
• The ability to work a weekly 3/2 (office/home) hybrid schedule.

We Hope You Also Have (Preferred Qualifications):

• A Master’s degree in IT, business administration, or a related field
• Familiarity with food manufacturing, supply chain systems, or production technology
• CISSP (with ISC2 and/or CISO certification) or similar
• Experience presenting to C-level leaders or working with a formal governance committee
