Within our corporate Human Resources team located in Denver – Leprino is seeking a Corporate Safety Professional. At Leprino Foods, starting compensation for this role typically ranges between $66,000 and $78,000. This position has an annual target bonus of 5%.


  • The Safety Professional provides a key role in the dual support of corporate safety infrastructure and leadership of the Corporate Office Safety and Health Process.
  • Satisfy support of all critical infrastructure in the form of policies, training, reporting, corrective action tracking, incident recordkeeping, website information, and maintaining contractor approval processes.
  • Serve as the primary site safety resource for the corporate office, with the following functional safety areas: training and education, inspections, laboratory and manufacturing safety, employee engagement, pre-employment testing, regulatory compliance, incident analysis, and Emergency Response/First Aid.
  • Ask of you to serve as a leader and key member for all safety audits, key safety projects, and implementations throughout all our nine manufacturing facilities.
  • Support development of corporate communication tools for training materials, procedures, and postings.
  • Write policies based on applicable standards and internal procedures for all subjects relevant to industrial safety.
  • Ensure the accuracy and timeliness of periodic safety reports for the organization.
  • Continually improve on systems to collect and analyze data, generate reports on trends as requested, maintain files on safety alerts, and ensure contractor safety reviews are accurate and up to date.
  • Provide on-site leadership and technical safety support to operations associated with the pilot plant, R&D test kitchens, and laboratory operations.
  • Maintain progress on professional development with goal of advancing to a Safety Leadership position within our manufacturing plants.

You Have At Least (Required Qualifications):

  • A Bachelor's Degree in a Safety related subject area (Industrial Hygiene, Occupational Safety, etc.)
  • At least two years in an industrial manufacturing setting.
  • The ability to travel up to 50% of the time to all our manufacturing facilities throughout the nation.
  • Are humble, inquisitive, patient, collaborative, innovative, results-oriented, and resilient - the DNA of a Leprino employee.


We Hope You Also Have (Preferred Qualifications):

  • Master’s Degree in Occupational Safety.
  • CSP or CIH certification desired upon hire. Certification required as part of a developmental plan.
