Within our Corporate Technical Services team located in Denver, Leprino is seeking a Capital Project Manager to support our organization's ambitious growth and drive innovation in automation and process optimization. We take pride in our vision to be "world's best," which drives us to work smarter, invest in cutting-edge technology, and continuously innovate. 

 

At Leprino, starting compensation for Capital Project Manager typically ranges between $115,000 and $140,000, and has an annual target bonus of 12%. 

 

The Capital Project Manager has broad expertise and the unique knowledge required to successfully lead the engineering and construction project management activiities associated with the design and installation of buildings, structures, processes, automation, and utility systems. This job oversees the appliation of capital to bring the greatest falue to the company for the investment of that capital. This job leads capital project management efforts to maximize project efficiency, and is reponsible for project safety, and adherance to GMPs. This position must demonstrate their capabilities in managing capital projects with a total installed cost of $25 million to $75 million, adhering to budget and schedule. 

 

  • Design, schedule, lead, and execute assigned capital projects from conceptual development through commissioning, qualification, and project close out, to include site, building, process, automation, and utility systems. 
  • Monitors and assesses construction progress within norms and expectations. 
  • Work with internal and external partners to resolve significant, complex, and/or unique RFI's, and provide coordination to remdiate site and contractor issues, and managing process change management. 
  • Develops scope statements, drawings, schedules, and supportive documentation for the development of Request for Proposals.
  • Solicits competitive bids for all construction work and establishes evaluation criteria on bid tabs for technical contracts. 
  • Work cross-functionally with teams across the company to ensure project success and seamless integration. 
  • Communicate clearly with stakeholders, ensuring project timelines and requirements are met. 

 

You Have At Least (Required Qualifications):

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management or a related technical discipline. 
  • 8+ years of construction management experience.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint. 
  • Experience with AutoCAD.
  • Experience working in a construction environment.
  • Willingness to travel extensively (at least 50%)

 

We Hope You Have (Preferred Qualifications):

  • A Master's degree in a related engineering/construction management field.
  • Experience working in a manufacturing environment. 
  • OSHA 30HR Safety Certification
  • Knowledgeable on Food Manucturing cGMP's.
