Within our Accounting team located in Denver – Leprino is seeking an Associate Fixed Assets Accounting Analyst to move our organization to even larger level of dairy ingredient and nutrition growth! At Leprino Foods, starting compensation for this role typically ranges between $56,000 and $65,000. This position has an annual target bonus of 5%.


  • Review SAP Investment Management reports as well as on-going communication with engineers and controllers at the manufacturing locations to ensure projects are closed or accrued and review any assets created from all other production projects.
  • Performs a review of asset additions, transfers, and retirements entered on the Fixed Assets System for accuracy.
  • Ensures AFE files are organized, complete and secured.
  • Assists in processing the results of Fixed Asset inventories for Depreciation budgets. Is responsible for following up and documenting the results of the inventories and ensuring all inventories have been completed.
  • Assists in the review of archived AFE records on a semi-annual basis.
  • Maintains company vehicles including their registration and insurance files.
  • Assists in the coordination and completion of the annual depreciation budgets.
  • Prepares Purchase Requisitions as needed for corporate construction projects and Tech Services projects.
  • Provides mentorship and training to plant and corporate personnel when needed on SAP Fixed Assets, Investment Management, AFE preparation, capital costs, depreciation, policies, and standard methodologies.
  • Ensures all projects are established, commitments issued, if needed, and timely reporting on a monthly and quarterly basis.
  • Assists with the annual review of projects and the write off of project costs, if needed. Ensures TS project and Integration hours are reported timely, and booked to the GL accurately.
  • Assists in the completion of monthly reconciliations.
  • Issues corporate and plant asset inventory lists as requested.
  • Performs “Open Project calls” in a timely fashion and follows up, if needed, on if additional information is needed to close capital projects.
  • Resolves system problems and improve system controls to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the Property Accounting Department.

You Have At Least (Required Qualifications):

  • An Associate's Degree OR Six (6) months experience in fixed assets/construction accounting.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (i.e. Excel, Word, and Outlook).
  • The ability to work a weekly 3/2 (office/home) hybrid schedule.

  • Experience with SAP Fixed Asset system and/or SAP Investment Management (Capital and Purchasing).
