Relief Machine Operator - Nights ($28.31/hr)

Short & Sweet: Relieve operators on their days off and breaks by completing all tasks expected of operators at each position.

Description:

• Perform according to Standard Operating Procedures in all positions.
• Know all job functions of operators in the Cheese Processing Department
• Comply with all good housekeeping and Good Manufacturing Procedures.
• Communicate effectively with co-workers, maintenance and depart­ment management.
• Follow all required safety practices and procedures.
• Assist with dicers during changeovers.
• Collect, weigh, and record all shift scrap and redice.

Schedule: 

• 12 HOUR SHIFT
• 6:30 PM - 7:00 AM
• 2, 2, 3 rotation
• 24/7/365/Weekends/Holidays

Qualifications:

Minimum

• Able to organize, prioritize, and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Action oriented and the capacity to drive for results
• Must be able to read/write and perform basic mathematical functions
• Familiarity or ability to learn SAP, or similar integrated manufacturing system
• Must be 18 years of age
• Must be able to communicate verbally and in writing
• Must be able to support 24/7/354 operation with weekends and holidays
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs floor to mid chest (0' - 39') and climb stairs and ladders hourly.

Preferred

• Prior food industry experience
• Able to lead others effectively, including training, coaching, and developing others
